Indigenous Gender Diversity

A non-clinical course to help learners increase awareness, knowledge, and skills for improving access to services for gender diverse Indigenous people across BC.

This course will help learners:

  1. Describe, value, and support Indigenous gender diversity
  2. Identify basic wellness considerations when providing care and services for gender diverse Indigenous people
  3. Assess your current workplace practices for opportunities to improve gender-affirming care and referrals for gender diverse Indigenous clients

Content development for this course has been led by and made in collaboration with various gender diverse Indigenous, Two-Spirit, and Indigenous community members, providers, and artists. Acknowledgments are found within the course.
